It’s giving romantic, it’s giving I wrote to you every day for a year, it’s giving I love you no matter what.
Jessica and Taylor booked me a few months prior to their wedding at Sekrit Theater. I knew that this day was going to be so beautiful from our very first call. Jessica told me about her & Taylor’s love story, and how they will be having their son with them on this very special day. Jess and I immediately bonded over being fellow midwest transplants. Her being from somewhere way cooler than Cincinnati- Chicago!
While I knew Jess was the sweetest long before their wedding day approached, I was still taken aback by how truly kind every single person was. Her sisters & mom greeted me like I was a part of their family immediately. The morning was full of rain, and these two were beyond ready to embrace it. She said it reminded her of the Notebook, and I am fully with that vision!
As you can see, these are everything above and more. The rain is the perfect unpaid actor making every single photograph 200xs more romantic! Because The Sekrit Theater’s greenhouse provides cover from the elements, we are able to enjoy the ceremony while only getting a *little* wet. The windows fog, the chandeliers glow, and the lighting is chefs kiss. I’ve photographed many weddings at Sekrit Theater. While they’re all special in their own way (There is a reason Sekrit Theater is on my list of Best of the Best Austin Venues. ), the ambiance of this property truly cannot be beat on the stormy days.
I hope you enjoy Jessica & Taylor’s wedding gallery below! Please leave a comment of which photo is your favorite if you get the chance.

Jessica wanted a video of her & her son walking down together, but didn’t want a videographer for the day. She asked I I could set up a phone on a stand to record for her- which I did- but I also brought my camcorder along to record some nostalgic footage of their day. She was obsessed & so am I. As always, I love to recap my blog posts with a breakdown of how much coverage they book & what our time looks like together. Jessica and Taylor booked me for two hours of photography coverage, which was perfect for covering their ceremony & photographs after. They chose to have an intimate wedding, so this includes photos with their guests following the ceremony.
