Paige told me her & Brian’s inspiration for their wedding heavily came from the Italian vibe this venue gives any event. Together the beautiful rolling hills draped in golden light, mixed with the elegance of Chapel Dulcinea’s architecture to create a romantic setting for their day. Paige’s silk wedding dress was the perfect blend of simplicity & elegance, which complimented Brian’s classy clack suit perfectly. The touches of red roses further tried in this classic romance vibe, and lets be real- we know I’m a sucker for red.
I found myself thinking back to Anakin & Padme’s nuptials on the Italian countryside. Paige’s veil looks as if it is straight out of a movie, and I swear I heard someone muttering about how much they hate sand.
Their wedding was officiated by Katrina Baecht, one of my favorite officiants here in ATX. Her company is called Spoken Hearts Ceremonies. You can book her for one of your own wedding days at https://spokenheartceremonies.com!
The Venue is Chapel Dulcinea, located at 16221 Crystal Hills Dr, Austin, TX 78737. You can visit their website to view more information and book your wedding here.
And of course, photography by myself! 🙂 I always like to include the details of what they booked with me so you can see how different coverage looks at different wedding days. You can read more about that down below.
Paige and Brian booked me with my hourly a-la-carte photography package for 3 hours. Our time began together when they arrived to the venue, fully dressed, and prepping for ceremony. I use this time to grab a few candids and those last moments alone before you see your love! Chapel Dulcinea is great because they have two suites on site, so you and your partner can get ready separately if you are not planning on seeing each other until you walk down the aisle.
Following our quick touch ups, Paige and Brian made their way to their sunset ceremony at the chapel. A wedding ceremony typically lasts around 25 minutes from start to finish. This depends on what you choose to have a part of your nuptials. After the ceremony, we head directly into formal family photographs with those they chose to have join them on their special day! Because this was an intimate wedding (with about 25 guests), we have time for individual photos with everyonewithout compromising time for the couple! Following family photographs with the Texas hill country as our backdrop we sent the family to their reception space also on-site. I’ll let their portraits speak for themselves. We shared some breathtaking scenery, along with a few quiet moments before joining the party again.
At this point we are done with their sunset portraits at Chapel Dulcinea. We made our way back to the on-site reception space to celebrate with champagne, cake, and words from their loved ones! Our photography time ends here.
